Brief History of JCI Central Davao

Tracing its roots to 2001, JCI Central Davao is a Local Organization of Junior Chamber International Philippinesdedicated to developing young leaders and creating positive change through leadership development, community service, and collaboration.

For 25 years, the chapter has provided members with opportunities to lead projects, build partnerships, serve communities, and develop practical leadership skills. Its legacy includes sponsoring JCI Señoritas Davao, establishing partnerships with fellow JCI chapters and institutions, and implementing initiatives in education, health, social inclusion, and community development.

JCI Central Davao’s leadership legacy extends beyond the Local Organization. In 2025, former JCI Central Davao President JCI Sen. Theodore “Teddy” Quindoy Garcia served as JCI ASSEAN President, demonstrating how leadership developed locally can grow into regional impact across Southeast Asia.

In recent years, the chapter has continued its community-development mission through initiatives such as Project Dungog: Pathways to Dignity and BIDA – Birth Identity Drive for All, while expanding opportunities for entrepreneurship, professional development, and economic collaboration through JCI Central BizLink.

As JCI Central Davao celebrates its 25th year in 2026, it honors the generations of members, Past Presidents, JCI Senators, partners, and stakeholders who built its legacy while preparing the next generation to lead, serve, and create greater impact.

Better Leaders. Stronger Enterprises. Greater Community Impact.

JCI Central Davao — Honoring Our Legacy. Strengthening Our Future.

Our Sustainable Goal

To build a generation of leaders and enterprises that can create opportunities, strengthen communities, and sustain positive impact long after each JCI term ends.

We do not build projects that end. We build systems, leaders, and opportunities that continue.
